In January 2023, Lenovo publicly committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050, a goal verified and endorsed by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Through collaboration with SBTi and adherence to their pioneering Net-Zero Standard, Lenovo is approaching emissions reduction in a systematic, collaborative, and accountable manner.
As an early adopter of science-based targets, Lenovo set ambitious emissions reduction goals for 2030 (approved by SBTi in 2020). We take pride in being chosen to pilot the inaugural Net-Zero Standard, working alongside SBTi and fellow early adopters.
