Our Extended Service Plan provides 12 months of mechanical breakdown coverage with low deductibles.
Our Accidental Damage Plan gives you the same coverage as the Extended Service Plan with low deductibles plus coverage for certain accidents that affect the functionality of the device like spills and screen breaks.
The Moto Care Extended Service Plan does not cover any accidents or damage, lost or stolen devices, damage caused by reckless or abusive treatment, and normal wear and tear when the device still works. Full Terms and Conditions.

The Moto Care Extended Service plan starts the day your standard limited manufacturer's ends.
Moto Care Accident Protection Plan begins the day you purchase the device. If you purchase within 30 days of receiving your device, coverage begins on the date you purchased your device. Motorola's standard limited warranty covers one year.
Depending on the term you select, Moto Care Accident Protection provides coverage for an additional 3 months or 12 months, and includes mechanical breakdown for 12 months after the manufacturer's warranty expires.
Moto Care Extended Service Plan gives you peace of mind against mechanical breakdown for 12 months after the manufacturer's warranty expires.
Moto Care Protection stays with your device. If you sell or give your device to someone else, the device will still be covered under the existing Service Plan policy. If you receive a replacement device from us (see "Making a Claim"), we will automatically transfer the remaining coverage to the replacement device.
Note: You cannot transfer coverage to another device that you purchase or obtain otherwise.
